Life Security

Justin, one of the co-stars of this humorous anecdote over at Life in the Shoe, recently spoke at our church on the Biblical character of Job.

One idea he talked about impressed me:

Think of the four things in your life that are most precious to you. Then imagine that you must choose one and remove it completely. Then another one. And another. If that single remaining thing can be taken away from you, your life isn’t secure.
