Car shopping today. Very tired. Not enough sleep since BMA convention.

I didn’t buy a car today; there are some decisions to make tomorrow that very well may have a significant impact on my future life. Sorta weighty. Like, yeah. Don’t wanna be spending lots of time and money worrying about fixing my car all the time.

My mechanic-type buddy here is a Godsend, because everybody that knows me knows I’m not a mechanic-type, uh-uh.

  1. It’s good to know that I am not alone in that. Titus B. and the rest of my wife’s family have been a Godsend in that area!

  2. Yeah, this is a Mennonite with close to no mechanical skills. I’ve learned a little bit, though, just going through the car-buying process with my buddy.

  3. Hey you should have bought a Honda!!!Very trustworthy cars.
Mine is a 94 with 212thousand + on it!And it has caused mye very little trouble.I got it for $6,200.00 from my aunt.
It had 132thousand on it when I bought it!I’ve been places since then.Do 800 mile trips about once every 2 or 3 months to go home and YES you want a dependable car.
Or then a STRONG FAITH in God’s protection and provision!!:)
