I’m in that vaguely unsettled state of mind, the one where there are things to do and stuff to think about, but not the necessary solitude or time. I need a nice walk in the cold air. Ok, so I think I have just convinced myself to study at the library across campus instead of the conference room a few hundred feet away.

Of course, the last thing I want to do right now is study.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you that school isn’t hard work. Not physically (you have to conjure up physical activity on your own), but very taxing nonetheless. I guess it’s a lot like any type of work: sometimes you just gotta buckle down and get to it, when you’d rather be mindlessly frittering away your time.
